     @sun have they, or is it just kayfabe? it's hard to know. AA's whole schtick is that he thinks they want Trump as the containment candidate and are giving him a Stone Cold Steve Austin rebel gimmick constantly fighting against the swamp to get him over and that there's no serious opposition to him now

     @sun I was convinced he would win in 2020 (and still think he did) and was completely blindsided by the efforts to stop him, so you could be right if these certain elements have not been tamed

     @augustus there are a loooot of reasons I think he wasn't supposed to win the first time, too lazy to enumerate them though. but even during the actual election, his own party was pulling support trying to sabotage him

     @sun @augustus Everyone underestimated how much Hillary was hated, imo. That's why trump won 2016. I didn't like Trump, but Hillary had to be kept out.
