@Reluctant_Weeb stop with the loser attitude. this is a useful step, yes it isn't a "ok guys everything is done, go back to your budlight and football!" - it is a step.
Do you want trans surgeries for kids canceled or do you just want to be right?
@Reluctant_Weeb No, the problem is you, because all you care about is being right, and not fixing anything. Pathetic. You'd rather have thousands of children mutilated than lift a finger.
@sickburnbro This is exactly 'everything is done, go back to your budlight and football.' This achieves nothing and convinces people (like you) that it does. If you think this is an all satisfactory you're part of the problem.
@Reluctant_Weeb I do, in fact. Do you ever think about how the left got into power? Giving people license to think things is an important part of culture war preparation.
Remember that all of this tranny stuff is DEEPLY unpopular right now.
Your solution is to let them get away with propagandizing people that "everyone else thinks it's ok, why are you being the troublemaker"
I agree with this statement. The days of strongly worded letters, which is essentially all that these depersonalised statements and press releases amount to, have well expired.
There still appears to be a collective boomer mindset on so many disagreeable areas where the normals are just looking to peers to make a statement; as if that is anything other than a diversion so they don't have to personally do anything.
@sickburnbro You're escalating this out of hand. All I'm saying is that this isn't a big deal, and you're turning that into some strange character fault of mine. I'm not offering solutions, you're making that up so you can hate me for daring to disagree with you.
There is no point to the strongly worded letter, that is what i wrote. It feels good to think that socially valudated authorities are 'dealing with the matter' and that everything is going to be okay, not that the big boys are doing the right thing. That in itself is the dynamic by which many disagreeable things have been allowed to happen.
I don't know what either of your political positions are so I speak for myself: My political opponents introduced gay marriage because my peers wrote to their MPs and made polite discourse over legitimacy, when what we should have done is burned down their homes and lynched any faggots in office. My opponents brought negros to my home because we argued about semantic of racism and visa application rules, what we should have done is shot every nig who was seen here.
That is the point i was making when i say the days of strongly worded letters has expired. I'm not taking side in your 'you are wrong, no you are wrong' thread. I was specifically referring to the single comment i responded to.
