     hitting the random nsfw reddit button landed me on findom stuff, and the 'I want to recover from being into this' aspect subreddits.

     Having a poke around because, well... interesting to know about stuff, and...

     It's interesting to note how many findoms are slinking around the support groups for people who are trying to get out of findom.

     It's like drug dealers hanging out in addiction support groups.

     There's precedent, I guess, but I was surprised how blatant it was.

     Not to poop on a kink, but it strikes me that findom is full of... well... very strong exploitation.

     I get that some people WANT the exploitation, that's the point, but from what I see there's a lot of doms just pushing and pushing until people break.

     @HauntedOwlbear Peeking behind the scenes, etc and tracking reddit profiles you can see some dom(me)s are definitely caring, reasonable and... actually into the kink.

     ... and they're talking to others of a similar vein and trying to work out the balance between giving people what they want and not fucking people up, etc.

     But then... *gestures broadly* there's the others.

     @DarkestKale yeah, the thing is that it's really easy to exploit other people's desires, so you've got those polar axes of "look, naifs to exploit" vs "I really don't want to harm this person as much as they are asking me to".

     And with findom that translates really directly to both a quantifiable sum and the daily means of support to both people involved.
