     @emilygorcenski Knowing about stuff like this is why I roll my eyes when American leftists claim that Bernie Sanders would be center-right in any country in Europe.

     A lot of European leftists (and their parties) have some positions/beliefs that would horrify American leftists if they knew about them.

     @emilygorcenski yeah I was just there as an exchange student for a semester. While I never heard or felt anything disrespectful aimed at me (except for a handsy drunk guy at Oktoberfest) I sure did hear a lot about "guys who are just here to marry their way into citizenship". Ugh.
