     have you ever had a time in your life when you had ZERO local friends? it’s happened to me a couple of times in my life (lots of moving around as an adult) and i just had a long-ass dream about it. harrowing. the loneliness builds up and it’s so hard to make new friends without letting the desperation creep through.
