@amoonrabbit the linked company website has a design that has just that. It's essentially 4 sides of a box with the fans in it, and the other 2 sides are the filters that are just held in place by friction. Can easily be replaced.
I'm prolly gonna make something like that myself because it should be very simple to make.- NeonPurpleStar :heart_bi: likes this.

@fristi@akkos.fritu.re Should make it so that the filters can be replaced rather than each unit being only usable for a year.

literally a super simple idea for how to build a DIY air purifier that is cheaper (but has better performance) than most commercial air purifiers.
apparently it works so well that some company is making commercial versions of these powered by PC fans that make the whole unit substantially quieter even.
