     @adriano @mcc Seriously, though, Choose Your Own Adventure books gave me gender euphoria by pointedly not assigning a gender to the reader.

     @adriano @mcc I remember one of them needed to name the reader, so they picked something aggressively gender neutral.

     I had dozens of these books when I was a kid, but they are gone now, like tears in rain.
