ive been wracking my brains for almost two years trying to come up with a good project that would involve me needing to generate a bunch of text using an LLM. i'm fascinated by the technology, especially tweaking it and automating it. but every single damn time i try to actually apply it to anything, it becomes very apparent very fast that, in every case, the only realistic, interesting, and fun way to "generate a bunch of text" that actually fulfills my requirements is to "write it myself"

Now, even if it kept misspelling words, and would put in random comments about wanting to go for a walk or how great sticks are, that would be the most amazing thing you've ever seen. It would absolutely blow your mind that this was even possible.
But you wouldn't hire the dog to take meeting notes. Except, in this case, people are trying to.
