     @Bronwyn Across pretty much *all* social media, you will eventually have to be specific or clear about what you mean. Once each site gets to a certain size, such interactions as you have encountered become inevitable. Either you have to limit yourself to smaller places or restrict who can read or find a coping mechanism. My coping mechanism is to pre-emptively post warning messages on some of my posts. "This is a rhetorical question. Answer it on pain of getting blocked." and such....

     I put this on threads also and someone came at me for supporting OXXO when it’s destroyed momnpop corner stores and…

     1. That’s absolutely true

     2. I’m willing to bet that person has used chain stores before and this is not unique to OXXO

     3. I was honestly just pointing out how nice it is to be able to buy water at 10 pm when you realize you’re out.

     Maybe threads is not for me any more. Is blue sky any better?
