   I said this earlier when Vimms got hit the first time but now that it's truly over... Archive any game you may want in the future. Archive any game anyway. Do it for yourself and your fellow man.
   
   My Theory is that these are tests to see if an AI model that these companies have invested in can properly detect games and projects to be DMCA'd.

Cool Roms is gone, the one ran by that couple that got sure is gone, emuparadise needs a plugin, soon the only way to get an iso for super Mario sunshine will be to be a member of an obscure discord that has a Google drive that needs a code to get in or some shit

     I know the big name sites that have been up for decades like Emuparadise and Vimm's are being taken down, but aren't there still sites like CDRomance and WowRoms? Pirates will always find a way to share and care. (Not trying to argue here, I'm just curious about the "sky is falling" mentality when there are other options).

     @ZRDR_DelRio Yup, as it stands I don't think there's any Ninty Ninjas HERE on fedi (could be wrong but if there are I'd imagine they hang out on shit like threads)
     
     so the best place as it stands now is the r/roms megathread, and IA.... (I am unfortunately a twitter user and I've already told several people to shut the fuck up about the last resort sources we have)
     
     The downside to that source is the downloads are fucking abysmal. It took me 3 hours to get a Wii game once.

     I'm scared of using Torrent because I got a dmca notice from the service that I was using, for trying to use a torrent to install final Fantasy X. Truly insane shit

     Lack of seeding is abundant for anything older than 3 years as it stands, it all really just depends on the piracy community at that point.
