Hard to overstate how important this work is to the health of the Fediverse and to the Fediverse development community….

@tchambers It’s strikes me as odd that someone advocating/working for this is posting on Threads.

@mcg @tchambers farthest from the goal of having a testable interface?

@evan @tchambers It’s the platform farthest from the goal, less likely to be influenced by community, doesn’t allow responses from non-Threads users. I guess if the goal is mostly to reach/influence other Threads users, maybe it makes sense.

@mcg Johannes is spreading the word about an important part of the AP tech stack on another social platform. You can see it because they've partially implemented AP. You can't see his posts on X or LinkedIn, who haven't.

@mcg yeah, I definitely think stuff about the fediverse tech stack should be visible on the fediverse (obvs), but I also think people like @J12t need to tell the story where they can.

@evan That’s cool then. If their goal using Threads or any other closed platform is reach, makes sense.
