   Big news from the #election in #India The results are being announced today and the media (which is largely sitting in the lap of the BJP government) predicted 400 seats for the BJP.

   Now that results are out, they are struggling to even cross the simple majority mark of 272 by themselves. They are currently stuck at 243.

     @redstarfish The difference between the NDA government and the BJP government will be that they'll face a real opposition. The difference will be that Amit Shah won't be able to stand up in the house with his hands on his hip like a king, he will be reminded that he's after all a representative of the people.
