Remember, #Pride2024 is for everyone!! Gay, straight, black, white, men, women.. everyone. This is why the symbol is a rainbow. It's to represent the unity between ALL people, despite the few who seek to separate us and spew hatred. If you see a rainbow and it pisses you off, there is something deeply wrong with you as a person and you should really get help. 🏳️🌈
@lifewithtrees I marched in my first parade in 1987. I pushed a bike with a sign that said 'I"M NOT GAY BUT MY MOMS ARE!!' ❤️
If you don't see PRIDE celebrations (even 'family friendly' ones) as progress, I can't help you, but this post assumes A LOT about the #LGBTQ community. They aren't all obviously queer, they don't all hate children and they don't all feel comfortable with PDA. So, maybe 'casual observations' don't tell the whole story? 🏳️🌈
