     @kaia@brotka.st I'm sure which models exactly are good right now because I'm not interesting in anything post 2009.
     
     But in general the the rule of thumb to consider for buying cost effective refurbished hardware is that the price will usually hit is sweet spot at 4-6 years after release because that is the exact point when computers get written off by organizations who have bought them new in bulk.
     
     So you should be looking for 2018-2020 models now.

     @kaia refurb ones, for sure. I got T480 and hate its USB c charger, only 2 USB ports, shitty trackpad, garbage pc

     I recently bought a #Thinkpad P14s Gen 2 AMD model on kleinanzeigen.de from a local re-seller and I am super-happy. 😍 Of course, price for a 2nd hand model heavily depends on condition. Mine was 450€ and it looked like never used before. Got an additional RAM upgrade to 32GB and a docking station, both also 2nd hand.
