I just found a 3COM 3C509B in my stash and I know FOR CERTAIN that it's compatible with the network card I had when running Slackware 3.5, let's just hope it still works!

@jamie I just got it to work after wrestling with PnP drivers and APIPA autoconf, these cards are made for surviving nuclear blasts! Next to install Slackware on another CF card, it should work out of the box

Oh, wow. That's a blast from the past. I installed/swapped so many of them in the late '90s. We had a drawer full of spares. One of the things we always saved when a machine went to the recycler.
