I learned how to grow my own vegetables during the pandemic. Have been reaping a good harvest since 💃

/JK, I got a thousand tomatoes quietly growing in my barrels, the smallest one barely have ONE set of true leaves, and I'm already making plans to lay some foliar spray of kelp on them. There's a whole hillside of arugula and another one of miner's lettuce.

Elizabeth Tai | 戴秀铃 🇲🇾 (liztai@hachyderm.io)'s status on Monday, 03-Jun-2024 12:16:59 JST Elizabeth Tai | 戴秀铃 🇲🇾 @LifeTimeCooking They're pretty easy to cultivate! Just cut the stems, soak in water, wait for roots to appear and plant. But they're very water hungry, so be sure to constantly water them.

Ganga (lifetimecooking@mastodon.au)'s status on Monday, 03-Jun-2024 13:04:17 JST Ganga @liztai It is hard to grow water-hungry plants here, although I have been considering getting a huge pot without drainage, and using that as a place to grow some things like brahmi which thrives with lots of water. I will consider further.
