     @NaClKnight Premise: six high school girls try out ice hockey on a lark and fall in love with the game, join a rec league and fight their way to a meaningful team victory.

     Execution: Story is entirely cookie-cutter. You could swap out ice hockey and slot in *any* sport and the story still functions without adjustment. It ended up being "a sports anime about ice hockey," but not an “ice hockey anime" in the same way that, e.g., Haikyu!! is a "volleyball anime.”

     @NaClKnight Hate is probably too strong a word, but I remember being very disappointed in Final Fantasy: Unlimited. I don't think I finished it, but considering its run was cut in half it wasn't finished to begin with.

     I loved the idea of the show but watching it I just didn't like any of the characters involved.

     Ultimate Weapon Girlfriend, basically a war is happening and a high school girl is converted into an android weapon to fight secretly while still attending school.

     It was a bit too hazy for me. A lot of the story and setting was left hazy and instead they focused on the relationships between the lead characters, only problem for me was that I had no affection/interest in any of them.

     It sounds like it's much more of a romance/drama than you were willing to sit through for those two characters. I don't blame you. I'd probably make the same choice.

     @NaClKnight Two girls who are completely opposite in terms of personality end up living together. It takes 30 episodes to become depressing. I was kind of mad because I was so invested in it. Apparently the manga is never going to be finished, so there's probably no chance for a happy ending.
