    @matt @FlashMobOfOne

    This will be your easiest way.
    Boot into a live Linux desktop and use gparted for a graphical way to resize your partitions. It will work swimmingly

      @FlashMobOfOne I used a live Linux distro (Pop!_OS), then shrunk the Windows partitions using gparted instead.

      Get a USB stick 8+ gigs that is empty or can be wiped.
      If you are on windows download a program called Rufus or Ventoy
      Download your Linux image (Ubuntu, popOS,... )
      Launch Rufus or ventoy with your USB connected. Tons of online tutorials for both bits of software, or lots of YouTube videos.

      Drop a message if you have any issues or you get stuck 😀

      @FlashMobOfOne @matt

      Linux iso files are "live operating systems" it will load the ENTIRE operating system into memory and you will be able use it like it was installed (but it won't be). Just open up the menu, and gparted will be installed already and you can use it 👍

      @matt @FlashMobOfOne yeah, if not gparted any other related tool should work, the important part is doing it outside of the existing OS.

      @FlashMobOfOne
      Are you sure it is locking up? I ask because I have had extremely long pauses early on the shrink / move phase. In some tools they load the partition maps and file maps and process them in memory, which looks like pauses or lockups... Maybe you are running into somethin like that?
