   why is youtube recommending me homestuck shit... i haven't read that thing in about a decade or so (not worth it btw)

     but yeah point still stands, overall it's not worth it, especially nowadays. if you do wanna read anything mspa, just read problem sleuth, it's much shorter, much less complicated, much less pretentious most of all, and it finishes without any dangling plot threads of note.

     fwiw, though... don't listen to the common fan, it starts off alright but gets way too complicated later on. the early-on geek humor had a charm at least, though its biggest problem was that if you're not familiar with it you're not gonna get it (which was me, originally; i understood it better on a re-read). i think most fans don't "get it" which is why they tend to claim it gets better later on. but a common problem it has throughout is that it's rather hard to follow, just for different reasons when comparing early vs. later.
     
     i think im starting to understand those who thought problem sleuth was better lol
