     I shall correct your sentence into :

     "Pleroma is the best hosting application for the fediverse."

     Mastodon itself is just another Hosting App and not the Network itself.

     @lain God Bless there is Urban Dictionary :blobcatfearful: But i agree Pleroma is much more efficient and also better for climate as it uses less resources in general. But there are some inconveniences to swallow in return. I hope Pleroma/Akkoma still improves over time to be even better.

     @RyuukaShinrai there is more — to avoid consuming more resources (and save climate!) with server grows, Pleroma has deeply built in feature called "death due to database broken", which prevents existing of very large Pleroma instances (big as Mastodon.social)
