   At least in my accent, it's more fedi as in 'yeti' - the i is a long 'ee' as opposed to the short 'ih' that's the i in universe, which again from my Br-Eng southern England tongue, sounds like the Is in 'British'. I can't think of anyone who says it like you-knee-verse.

   Fed-ee-verse, rather than fed-ih-verse. If that makes any sense..!

     @noodlemaz Interesting! So in Southern England people don't say "yeti" like /YEDD-ih/?

     I guess I've only ever heard US people talk about the yeti, because /YEDD-ih/ is the only pronuciation I've heard!
