@thomasfuchs "it has been googled" has become semi-common around me for "shut down despite being decent", if that counts
@0x5DA actually language changes like that constantly. For example “woke” meant “aware of social injustices” a few years back and now it’s overwhelmingingly a right-wing slur
@thomasfuchs never. language doesn't really change like that. the most would be "to search" being popularised, but more likely one still "googles" on alternative search engines.
