I finished my bedroom yesterday and it looks so good. Obviously all my hard work cleaning really wore Gizmo out lol!

What I am enjoying about this process is how good everything looks when I'm done. It makes me feel better. Plus I'm buying all kinds of cute bins and stuff to organize things in. I love stuff and I have a smaller house, so it's necessary!

I've done so much cleaning and organizing these past few weeks. Just a little at a time because I think I have task paralysis. I get so overwhelmed and think it's going to take so long and that I'm going to hate it so I just don't do it. I don't like cleaning, but I hate seeing a mess so I tried something different. I forgot to take a lot of before pics but got all the after pics. Here's one where I remembered. This is one of my dressers. (It's old 1960s and needs to be repainted!)

@FlashMobOfOne That's a great idea! I know my husband and I have been donating things too. Mostly clothes. I'm a little bit afraid of my ability to keep this up, but I'm using an app right now that breaks the entire house into zones and tasks for each room in a zone over a handful of days and so far it's helping me to keep on track.
