   My beloved Macintosh SE 800k
Sadly it no longer chimes it only does popping noises and my guess is the analog board is bad or the CRT is shot since it doesn't glow on the neck of the CRT when the computer is turned on 

   Thankfully I can still use my SE SuperDrive for now

     @retrotechtom I’d wager it’s the power supply or the analog board. Likely a cap has failed or there’s a broken solder joint somewhere. Thankfully those are both fixable 👍

     @mac84tv Yeah it might be the issue since last time it had a little bit of smoke that came out of it when it was still working back in September and the screen was also blank when it was still on
