   @Lironah I love this concept/dynamic. It's hella cute.

   "Charismatic melee hero and the nerdy, researcher caster he's madly in love with" sounds familiar to me

   ...Though in our case @AllKeysGDS dumped dexterity, not charisma

     A hero character who's always saving damsels in distress, but when they want to reward him with a kiss he's all, "I'm sorry, no one can compare to Griselda back home."

     Then when you finally meet Griselda she's just this classic nerd girl, charisma of 9 or 10, struggling through mage school. "Oh thanks Derek! I thought I'd never find enough cockatrice scales to master this spell with!"

     Derek, grinning stupidly, one arm turning slowly to stone, "Anything for you, 'Zelle!"
