     @GreyWays Yes, there are some manufacturers that do sell computers that are Linux pre installed assuming if you do research but you can install a different distro if you don't like the distro they installed.

     That's the beauty of it!

     And it depends, I'm assuming it's the same price.

     @GreyWays I played with one recently and I was impressed on how modular and reliable it is. If I get a new laptop, it's the brand I would go for.

     @joeo10 I'm looking at the framework brand you mentioned, and without windows it's in the 800s, and it looks so simple so far that even I could put it together? Which looks GREAT because I'd like my next laptop to be something that can actually be *serviced* instead of ripped apart if I want to do basic repairs or upgrades.
