   Tedious problem: Given a pair of airports, a departure date, departure time (origin time zone), and arrival time (destination time zone), determine the departure and arrival time/date in UTC.

   Complications:

   • destination time zone may change during flight
   • international date line may be crossed
   • probably a bunch of other things

     Ideally, I would just provide the date, flight number, and origin airport and pull the data from an API, but...

     @dl2jml I usually fly British Airways (do not tell me to use a different airline), which does not provide an ical file.

     @ryanc When I book a flight, I get an .ics calendar file. The times in that file are in UTC.

     @ryanc Maybe. But what I wanted to point out is that airlines use UTC internally. They have that data.
