     I remember seeing this a long while back and it's just as stupid now. One of the best/neat things about Gtk/Qt in the 2000s was the ability to flip through all the themes and find just the right one where all the apps you cared about looked right and it had a color pallet you liked too.
     
     These devs should just switch to Electron cancer if they care that much.

     I don't think Windows is really theme-able anymore right? With 10+ you just get to select from a list of pallets.

     @djsumdog yeah. hell, with my current setup of i3+polybar+dmenu+qutebrowser+vim+IntelliJ+etc., I'd be very glad for some ways to change their colors globally. GTK has this and instead of embracing it (and coding the layouts properly without stupid hacks) they're angry
     
     I never hear Windows devs bitching about a thing like themability even when eye-burning office banger themes like this have been a thing since forever

     If you don't want your apps to be themed then disable it with a technical solution. Simple as - if someone else wants to do the work to go out of their way to change it, let them.
