Paying for things electronically may be convenient, but it is too easy to spend outside a budget and impulse buy. Retailers know this. Those profiting know this. Buck the trend (😜) and pay cash for groceries, gas, fast food, and any incidental in-person purchases. You take out that amount of cash allowed in your budget and don't use your debit / cc for anything but online shopping.

@noondlyt But then you run into the problem that online shopping is the easiest way to impulse buy. Especially if the site/company already has your card info. It's almost like you're not even spending the money if you don't type the numbers in, right?!?😬

@BeAware Don't ever let a company save your cc info if that is an option. Unless you have a subscription service with them, you have the right to disallow them saving your info. Unfortunately that is why corporations are steering everything to a subscription based model.
