     @mushroom_soup Black women have crazy high AIDS rates too, contracted from male partners. If you dig deeper you find out their male partners are contracting AIDS in prison. I don't really know what to do with this information except that by the time it hits public policy it's just considered a heterosexual transmission problem (the terminology is confusing too because the literature distinguishes between self-identified homosexuals and men who have sex with men.)
