   @BeAware There is a so called "blocking discourse" that comes up from time to time.

   And if you just mention that you don't like this blocking culture - guess what, you get blocked by more people!

     @BeAware For some reason a significant part of Bluesky users are huge fans of blocking, it pisses me off… You get blocked for something you wrote somewhere to someone else, or because they don't like your "vibes" or whatever, even when you haven't interacted with that person. And then random parts of threads everywhere are inaccessible to you. And people are like "hey listen everyone, block early and block often, you don't have to explain yourself to anyone"...

     @BeAware Who knows, maybe you've said something there and not here and they didn't make a connection 🤷🏻♂️

     I even had it happen more than once that someone unblocked me after blocking me for months, because someone mentioned me, they suddenly realized I'm not actually a monster, and then… they followed me… 🤨
