     @BeAware Yeah, if they don't at least have an easy way to use plugins (so you can fix their weaknesses yourself/community-lead), there's no way the future is the Mastodon project.

     What's a good alternative to Mastodon? Despite these things you pointed out, I like it and I do not think they are any issue in the big picture.

     @BeAware Right. For me the default *keys user interface is too messy, but I guess it can be used with Mastodon front end as well, but then what's the point? 🤔

     I hear your concerns about moderation. I myself require a reason for every user and I do a slight background check. It's not perfect, but at least I have the control there. Also trying to keep this small, there are about 200 users at the moment.

     I'm glad there are options though.
