Evan Prodromou (evan@cosocial.ca)'s status on Thursday, 09-May-2024 05:47:44 JST Evan Prodromou If you're really having a hard time with it, I guess the best thing for me to do is use a more exact language than English. I think the musical language Solresol best captures the essence of this question. I'm attaching a whistled version of the word which I hope clarifies the topic. Here is also a link to the Wikipedia article on Solresol if you need to learn the language really quickly.

Andrew Eisenberg❗️ (aeisenberg@cosocial.ca)'s status on Thursday, 09-May-2024 13:24:06 JST Andrew Eisenberg❗️ @evan I prefer to think about equity rather than equality.
Equality implies people should be provided with the same amount of resources or opportunities.
Equity recognizes that people are different and strives to ensure fair outcomes.
