Something that Feminism-Appropriating Reactionary Transphobes ignore is that attacks on trans people are also deeply dangerous for cis gender-non-conforming people. This is especially true for Black women, whom our white supremacist culture masculinizes.

@jewishreader This makes me think a about a cis friend who never goes to a public bathroom without a friend to back her up because she’s been harassed too many times by other women claiming she’s a man. It’s been happening way before this wave of transphobia but it’s only gotten worse since. She used to go to a gym but had to stop because the harassment got to be too much.
