Yeah that nigga did it. He probably got up to so much raping throughout his political career that he doesn't even remember that one specifically.

@Hoss @djsumdog @Kennyben Thanks for reminding me of the Detroit Democrat mayor sentenced to 28 years who was sprung after 70 months.

Who let him out? Yeah, Trump. Good job Trump.

I don't know anything about Kilpatrick, but I don't think Rod Blagojevich did anything wrong or corrupt, and his conviction was obscene. I'm glad Trump pardoned him.

Sure, but if we're going to start stripping them away so we can have our enemies charged with random bullshit, then I want in on the fun.

The Showtime series Trial By Media did a great episode on Blago. If he was corrurpt, he didn't get any money from it. His coffers were empty, he lived in a normal sized Chicago house (I mean, a bit big for Chicago, but not really) .. with the Obama seat he wasn't even asking for favors for himself. He was asking for State money for his pet projects .. for the people of his state! He went up against his wife's family .. and Bank of America, which got him in trouble.

Yea he might have deserved 6 ~ 12 weeks at the most. Certainly not 14 years (oh which he served 8 I think?)

Blagojevich was kinda corrupt, but he deserved to be sentenced to a year and a day for his crime, not fourteen fucking years. Daily reminder that the literal current governor of Illinois J.B. Pritzker was the guy who wanted to buy the Senate seat from Blago and he didn't get in any kind of trouble for it at all.
