     @darnell Which is odd given you must use carrier financing to finance an iPhone direct from Apple. You can’t even do it with an Apple Card anymore.

     The only reason I ever got an Apple Card was to get an iPhone direct from Apple and spread the cost over 24 months. I’m on Mint so I’ve been locked out of that option.

     @rlounsbury Oh! You are referring to Mint Mobile (https://www.mintmobile.com/). There are several companies named Mint apparently (including a finance one).

     You should be able to order your phone unlocked if you pay full price. Since Mint Mobile uses GSM, simply order unlocked via AT&T, then switch to Mint.

     @darnell Neither. If you by a new iPhone from Apple and want to finance it you must select a carrier.

     While the phone is unlocked my understanding is you have to activate the iPhone on the carrier you chose and Mint is not an option.

     @darnell Yes, the mobile carrier.

     I can by it at full price yes. But I can’t opt for 24 month financing which is what I want.
