Jason Self (jxself@mastodon.social)'s status on Tuesday, 07-May-2024 16:17:34 JST Jason Self @clacke There are plenty of discussions about brain freezes online. This might be good - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold-stimulus_headache?useskin=vector You can also see it happening to a cat at the beginning of this video: https://redirect.invidious.io/watch?v=rX_lmt6FLzw If you don't experience them that's great because they're not pleasant. Fortunately they're short-lived.

https://sv.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glasshuvudv%C3%A4rkIt's definitely a universal thing. And I definitely experienced it and heard it talked about growing up in Sweden.
Although if you don't experience it yourself you might not have picked up the cues of others experiencing it. And filtered it when seen in media.
Pee shivers too, although that probably falls under "probably not discussed in polite company" for 1980s Sweden.
