     @graf @nikiboo I still can't play Halo 2 (in MCC) because it requires a Microsoft account.

     I'm glad there was an outcry over this, but, like... now go do Microsoft, Rockstar, Ubisoft, etc.

     If I were a crazy man, I'd say Microsoft amped up the backlash because they've already made gaymers capitulate and bend the knee, why not fuck over their competitor by raising hell under the exact same circumstances?

     @graf @nikiboo Honestly shocked they had trust to begin with.

     I remember way back in the PS3 era, my friends would constantly tell me about how their network or accounts on it were hacked. He was just talking about it like it was no big deal. We were pretty young to be fair, but it’s still amazing how these companies can just be unaffected by things like this, so long as they go “oopsy woopsie, we did a fucky wucky”.

     And sometimes they don’t even have to do that.
