No, it's a good thought but if anything she's mellowed with age! She's 14 and as playful as ever, but there is less hand eating going on. Her youthful raptor phase was legendary. My friends and family and I all call her "the panther" because she is 8 pounds of ferocity. -

Maybe pain? My dog appeared to lose interest in everything, the vet suggested arthritis, days later after medication he was a puppy. He got years of play, and more careful play from us.

I guess I'd walked her too far or too hard and she sat down because she was tired. I was trying to motivate her to walk and she looked at me...she didn't growl or anything. It was just...I knew if I tried to push her further, she was going for my throat. I carried her home and never tried anything like that again.

It has been zero days since my cat last tried to eat my hand so actually for some it's not a bad goal. -
