     one thing about the demise of the mall is, where do you buy shoes. Like say you are looking for shoes for a wedding or something. You don't want something bespoke and from Italy near Union Square. You don't want the kind of sneakers people line up to buy, or the kind you buy to run marathons, or really any kind. You don't want to go to a store that has like 3 shoes next to their scented candles. You don't want cool boots. Usually you want shoes that are comfortable, but not today.
