     There's no built-in GIF service on here yet, but you can attach GIF files to your posts by clicking on the picture icon on the app or the paperclip icon on the website.

     @feditips @Scott1984FP @Mastodon @FediFollows yes, thank you, I can do this with my own toots. But sadly not yet when replying to someone. Then it takes me back to my own timeline and erases the person and toot I wanted to reply to ??♀️

     Are you on Android or iPhone?

     You might want to try one of the third party apps, for example Tusky or Fedilab for Android. The third party apps have been around a lot longer than the official app,

     Mastodon third party apps have more features than the official one, as they have been around a lot longer.

     @feditips the app. Won't change to website cause this would make it less attractive for using.
