     nothing. Most Americans I know don't have a passport, and the only reason you need a driver license is to buy beer if you appear to be under 40.

     @gnu2 @lanodan Some companies (Rite Aid) or states (not sure which, but I think Texas is one of them) require the cashier to scan/swipe the card on the register in order to prove it's not fake.
