@WarnerCrocker they could do so safely while still being pretty vague. Better to accept any blame due.
I’m thinking some sort of incursion into a chink in their armor could have been involved, listening to better analysis of so, which Apple can be particularly tight-lipped about saying anything less it create copycat behavior or nullify their defense.
I also surveyed an incredible amount of strangers if they had been affected or knew about it. Only one had even heard about it.

Free tech support is less glamorous than it seems. ;)
