Occurs to me that these confrontations between Police and protestors are a lot like the pitched battles of antiquity.
Students need to form a phalanx. Cops will be confused and angry. Once the frustration sets in, other students with supers soakers full of cold piss advance and soak the angry pigs

@starwall @Adam_Cadmon1 Fwiw many black blocs have organized shield walls, and shield construction is featured in the planning of many street actions. One popular option is to cut down 55 gallon plastic water barrels. Two shields per barrel—light, unbreakable, and liquid proof.

@starwall nah, the critical part was the overlapping shields. Impenetrable if done right.

@Adam_Cadmon1 this is exactly the case. hard to think of a non lethal alternative to very long pointy stick though and that's THE critical part of the phalanx
