I gotta be honest. I'm connected enough to movement folk that I was waiting to see if I got the call. I think these young ones wanted to handle their biz themselves (which is why NYC mayor talking about "outside agitators" was ridiculous). I'm ready to be in proximity and solidarity upon invitation. Otherwise I do think observing from a remove is the respectful thing to do.

I think the last 4 years have shown people that a retweet doesn't mean shit
