     The analogy is a surprisingly good one: sometimes you do need to drive a truck onto the sidewalk, and sometimes people do have risk factors that mean they can’t get a particular vaccine, and in both cases you want do that as rarely as possible and very much the opposite of blindfolded.

     Saying we can’t drive trucks on the sidewalk is a slippery slope to saying we can’t walk on the sidewalk!

     @inthehands people have been driving dump trucks down the sidewalk blindfolded as long as there have been dump trucks to drive. Who are you to say it’s wrong now?
