  I don't think I've seen any recent technology flip as quickly from “this seems great" to “I don't understand what's happening here and if I use it I'm worried it will break something” as passkeys. Seriously, it was like "oooh all excited for passwordless" and then when they came none of my friends are using them or are all terrified it'll break what already works.
