Scored came out of TheDonald mass migration. When Reddit banned the Donald subreddit, most people had already moved to "the donald dot win" .. but the guy who owned the domain was kinda a shithead and they had to migrate, quite suddenly, to patriots.win. There were a ton of other .win forums served off the same Reddit-like engine .. and that eventually became communities.win .. which got rebranded to scored for .. reasons?
@Witch_Hunter_Siegfired@DireGoy Never heard of Scored. Just checked it out, very interesting. Wasn't aware that such a site existed, and they created the sub back in December '20. Around that time I was using Ruqqus, which was a fun Reddit alternative. But the lolberts who ran it had a shitfit about all the Nazis on their free speech platform so they nuked the whole thing lmao.
I doubt that a lot. They had funding issues staying online, the earliest versions were written on C# and running on Azure. It changed hands to people who had to containerize it to pull it off of expensive infrastructure.
Their whole "CCP" model seemed like a good idea, but ended up being terrible. I wrote about Voat here:
@djsumdog@DireGoy@Witch_Hunter_Siegfired Interesting. I do remember thedonald.win. I made an account on there back when they created it. But it was boring and lacked users. At the time they genuinely believed r/The_Donald had 6 million subscribers instead of 600k because of some leaked admin screenshot. So they tried to "prove" there were more users than the admins claimed by urging every new user to upvote the sticky post lol. I don't think it even came close to 100k lol.
After that I stopped caring, then months later after I was redpilled I heard they rebranded to patriots.win but I didn't care because I had long abandoned them. I would sometimes browse looking for election fraud cringe which there was plenty of.
Hmm. Don't know about that. That would mean communities.win/patriots.win would have to be honeypots too right? (Scored still uses the patriots.win account/login system)
