     @StillIRise1963 And don't forget COINTELPRO and how the FBI infiltrated the civil rights movement and Vietnam War protests. Oh,and let's not forget how the media condoned and egged on the anti-Japanese and anti-Mexican racism during WWII: the internment camps and the Zoot Suit Riots in LA.

     @jeremy_pm @StillIRise1963 Which is exactly what is occurring at USC. And why LAPD aggressively attacked the protesters in order to keep the violence from spilling off-campus into South Central LA and Mid-City. Areas where people are still angry at the police from 1992.

     @jeremy_pm @IveyJanette @StillIRise1963 I'm pretty sure far right folks want to see repeat of 2020 riots & more activist beat downs by militarized cops. MSM wants riots too - they profit from divide/conquer violent politics. There's too many politicians who are uninterested in respecting the pillars of democracy & want to fuel their selfish fascist agendas.

     @StillIRise1963 A lot of folks don't realize. They feel like this is a new phase, but this is a small (and relatively minor) piece of what black and brown folks have been getting since they were stolen and sold into slavery here.

     It just seems new to a lot of us white folks cause we didn't get beatings, firehoses, trampled by horses, etc...

     I hope it wakes us up to be better colleagues in struggle this time.
