     Perhaps. They are law "enforcement" and prone to as much error and bias as the next human but asked to be judge and jury for democracy and freedom?
     It's a damn hard job risking your life every day. I don't know how they go to work sometimes with the bad cop reputation.

     "risking your life every day"...
     Landscapers and crossing guards have more dangerous jobs than cops, and they manage to perform a service without regularly shooting people. Cops are not victims.

     Police don't care about your opinion of freedom and democracy.
     Similar to soldiers, they serve to protect and defend though force if necessary.
     If you're a hostage, these are the people who rescue you.
     Not students extracting demands against Israel.
     I'm disgusted by the comments here. Try serving your community offline.

     Generally agree, but sometimes I can't help myself. When I do, I usually reply and then block immediately (as in this case). I don't care if they see my response, since they are obviously not interested in good-faith discussion.
